Titan adds E190LR to serve sub-100 charter demand
The aircraft joined Titan Airways’ operations in late June and has already gained bookings from both charter and airline customers.
The E190LR offers a 2,400nm range and can serve airports with strict access limitations.

Titan Airways has acquired its first Embraer E190LR, registered G-POWX, to serve ad hoc charter and lease operations across the UK and Europe. The regional jet entered service on 27 June and complements the Stansted-based operator’s Airbus fleet of A320, A321 and A321LR variants.

Configured with nine business and 88 economy seats, the E190LR is aimed at domestic and regional routes. Titan’s commercial director Alex Harrington says the aircraft will “offer our clients a more fuel-efficient option when serving the 70-seat plus charter market” and will help meet smaller-capacity charter and lease requests. He adds that the airline plans to introduce layout variations, including an all-economy 100-seat option.

With a 2,400nm range and the ability to access constrained airports such as London City, Florence, Berne and San Sebastien, Harrington expects the E190LR to be “a popular addition” to the fleet. Interest and bookings are already being recorded and Titan is now exploring the addition of further EJet models.

The E190LR joins Titan’s wider fleet of 13 aircraft, which includes an Embraer Phenom 300 used for crew and engineer positioning and made available for charter through SaxonAir.
