Farnese takes charge of fleet strategy at Omni
The former OEM and leasing executive, Roberto Farnese, joined as EVP fleet from July 2025, bringing 18 years of experience to the Latin American group.

Omni Helicopters International has named Roberto Farnese as executive vice president, fleet, effective 1st July 2025. He will be responsible for crafting a fleet strategy that supports the company’s efficiency, sustainability and diversification aims. Farnese and his team will lead aircraft acquisitions and serve as the main point of contact for OEMs and financial stakeholders regarding delivery, maintenance and redelivery.

Group CEO Jeremy Akel says: “We are thrilled to welcome Roberto Farnese to the OHI Group. Roberto is a seasoned leader who has the right perspectives and insights to collaborate with the Omni executive leadership team. We are fortunate that Roberto has agreed to join the Omni team and look forward to his leadership, extending our unique positioning in Latin America.”

Farnese has more than 18 years of experience across OEM and leasing roles, with commercial oversight and team leadership in both Europe and the Americas. He holds a Master of Science in Impact Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and TU Delft.
