RIM Enterprises and Alliance Air Parts have merged to form RIM Alliance, uniting two established aircraft parts specialists into a single aftermarket operation with broader inventory, reach and capabilities. The deal was completed on 12 June 2025.
RIM, based in Marion, Iowa, was founded in 1991 and serves the global aviation sector with a full-service offering built around purchase, exchange, lease and rental of aircraft parts and engines. The company is led by president Paul Copping and managing director Steve Bell, both of whom will remain in post following the merger. RIM’s team brings more than 150 years of combined experience to the merged entity.
Alliance Air Parts, formed in 2006 in Oklahoma City, focuses on teardown and distribution of components for business jets, turboprops and narrow-body commercial aircraft. In early 2024, president Scott Potter secured backing from ACapitalFund to pursue growth. The merger with RIM aligns with that strategy by integrating two complementary operations under a single name.
“Their experience made the journey smoother,” says RIM’s Steve Bell. “We’re sincerely grateful for their insight, patience and hands-on approach throughout the process.”
