Archer has entered into a strategic partnership with Jetex to develop infrastructure for its commercial air taxi network across Jetex’s global network of private FBO terminals. The collaboration will begin in the United Arab Emirates and is expected to expand to Jetex’s 40 sites across over 30 countries.
The two companies plan to adapt Jetex’s fixed base operator locations for Archer’s Midnight aircraft, integrating the eVTOLs into daily operations and focusing on an upgraded passenger experience. Jetex’s luxury service approach will be combined with new tech-enabled features.
Jetex founder and CEO Adel Mardini says: “eVTOL technology is an instrumental part of our industry, designed to transform urban mobility and shape the future of business aviation. We are proud to work with our partners at Archer on making this ambitious vision a reality at Jetex Abu Dhabi and our other global destinations.”
Archer founder and CEO Adam Goldstein adds: “Building a beautiful, safe and high-performing aircraft is only one aspect of our business. To succeed in the UAE and beyond we need to pair Midnight with strategic infrastructure that allows us to operate by delivering a premium experience for our passengers. With its wide-ranging global portfolio and deep expertise with high-end customer service, Jetex is a perfect fit as a partner in Archer's commercialisation strategy.”
The news follows Archer’s recent progress in the region, including receiving design approval for the UAE’s first hybrid heliport and working with operators such as Abu Dhabi Aviation.
