Jet Aviation delivers B429 pair to Middle East
The contract was signed in 2019, and the first two aircraft were redelivered in 2020. Two more followed in 2024, with the final two redelivered in March 2025. For all six, the team worked closely with the customer.

Jet Aviation has redelivered two Bell 429 helicopters to a customer in the Middle East. The aircraft were the final two in a total fleet of six modified Bell 429s delivered to this customer.

The contract was initially signed in 2019, and the first two aircraft were redelivered in 2020. Two more followed in 2024, with the final two redelivered in March 2025. For all six, the Jet Aviation team worked closely with the customer as a Bell independent sales representative to understand their specific mission needs and propose both the most suitable aircraft and a series of customised modifications to meet these requirements. The aircraft include a custom package of mission equipment including EOIRS, mission mapping, video downlink, searchlight and mission communications.

Jet Aviation also supported with the purchase of equipment and accompanied the customer to the factory acceptance at the Bell facility, providing inspection of the aircraft and documentation.

“With over 50 years' representing Bell in the Middle East, we have built up extensive knowledge of the requirements of our customers in the region and utilise this to support them in making the best choices for their mission,” says Ian D'Arcy, vice president rotary and aircraft sales. “We were incredibly proud to see these final two aircraft in the fleet successfully redelivered. We have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with this customer, spanning decades, and we look forward to continuing to support them with their ongoing rotary requirements.”

Jet Aviation offers four rotary customisation and maintenance facilities in Australia and the Middle East, including two RBIH facilities in partnership with Bell. The company also offers helicopter sales in both geographies.
