Kugelmann joins Phenix Jet Cayman to drive Southeast Asia growth
The appointment has brought a sales veteran with regional aviation experience to lead the company's commercial growth efforts across Southeast Asia and beyond.
Kugelmann previously led Bombardier’s northern Asia sales effort and has held senior aviation posts spanning from Mongolia to the Maldives.

Phenix Jet Cayman has appointed Philipp Kugelmann as vice president sales and business development for Southeast Asia, effective 12 June 2025. Based in Singapore, he will direct commercial operations and growth initiatives across the region.

Kugelmann brings 18 years of aviation sales and leadership experience in Asia-Pacific. His most recent post was as sales director for northern Asia at Bombardier Aerospace. Prior to that he was vice president of marketing and sales for EMEA and APAC at Materna IPS, and managing director of PhilCo Pte Ltd. He also held senior positions at Apollo Aviation Management and BBAM, managing aircraft portfolios and market entry across emerging Asian territories. He began his aviation career with Lufthansa Technik.

In his new role, he will lead Phenix Jet Cayman’s charter, management and acquisition services across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, India and Australia. He will also focus on building partnerships with corporate flight departments and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, while leveraging the operator’s digital management platform and global ultra-long-range fleet.

Phenix Jet Cayman has set the benchmark for luxury, safety and reliability in private aviation,” says Kugelmann. “I look forward to building on this legacy by delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of Asia’s most discerning travellers.”

“Philipp’s diverse background and track record speaks for itself,” adds CEO Andrew Svoboda. “His appointment reflects our confidence in Asia-Pacific’s potential, which is projected to surpass Europe as the second-largest private jet market by 2026.”
