Phenix Jet Cayman adds Global 8000 under dual CAACI/FAA banner
The Sojitz-backed operator has added a Global 8000 to its managed fleet in under five business days, extending a dual CAACI/FAA structure that supports polar routing across the region.

Phenix Jet Cayman, an Asia Pacific business jet management and charter operator and part of the Phenix Jet Group, has added a Bombardier Global 8000 to its managed fleet. This flagship induction, together with a registration change to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands (CAACI), was achieved in fewer than five business days. The Phenix Jet Group, the largest operator of the Global 7500/8000 fleet in Asia Pacific, is set to continue its growth with an additional Global 8000 delivery scheduled for Q1 2027.

Metrojet placed Asia's first Global 8000 into managed fleet service in June.

Phenix Jet Cayman maintains one of the youngest fleets in the region, averaging 6.7 years compared to the regional legacy average of nearly two decades. The operator holds IS-BAO Stage 3, ARGUS Platinum, Wyvern Wingman and Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) accreditations. It also leverages rare dual-AOC certification (CAACI and US FAA) to offer flexible cross-border governance and polar routing capabilities.

Management combines international best practice safety standards with Japanese Omotenashi hospitality, catering specifically to high-net-worth aircraft owners. Phenix Jet Cayman continues to set regional benchmarks as the premier choice for charter operations, aircraft maintenance and bespoke asset value protection.

The Global 8000 only entered service in December 2025, making Phenix Jet Cayman's induction one of the earliest by any operator outside North America and the Gulf.

As ultra-long-range flight operations grow increasingly complex, operational performance, regulatory agility, financial management and localised support have become primary differentiators. Phenix Jet Cayman's expanding infrastructure and young fleet are actively driving aircraft owners in the Asia Pacific region to transition their aircraft management to Phenix Jet to protect residual asset value and optimise operational dispatch.

Phenix Jet Group is backed by Sojitz Corporation and with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Cayman Islands, Tokyo and Guam. Phenix Jet's diverse fleet of business jets includes the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ 737) Bombardier Global 7500 and Global 8000.
