Brazilian full service business aviation company TAM Aviacao Executiva has opened a new crew lounge at Congonhas airport, the main airport in the city of São Paulo. Located in Hangar 10, the space features a private rest area, workstation, café, restrooms with showers and waiting lounges. The goal is to provide a comfortable and private environment where crew can work or prepare in peace while waiting for their flights.

The architectural project was developed with functionality, comfort and exclusivity in mind, using carpentry as an aesthetic element and architectural reference for separating the main spaces, conveying privacy and transparency at the same time.

According to TAM AE president Leonardo Fiuza, it is essential to ensure quality services for the crew. “The new VIP lounge was designed with the needs of the crew in mind. With this new space, they will find everything they need at TAM AE to prepare and take their next flight with even greater comfort and safety.”

The new lounge is located in Hangar 10 at Congonhas and can be accessed via Rua Jorge Faleiros, 250 in Jabaquara. The space is open every day from 0600 to 2300 and is accessible to crew members who have aircraft in hangars at TAM AE or who have contracted the airport assistance service.
