H175 will boost Offshore's North Sea fleet
Members of the OHSUK team travelled to Airbus' facility in Marignane, near Marseille, to complete the handover of the new helicopter. It will now fly to the UK for its livery to be painted, before going into service.
Night vision goggles will be introduced for all crew, there will be a redesign of the cabin layout, and a bright blue and orange livery has been introduced.

Offshore Helicopter Services UK (OHSUK), part of the Ultimate Aviation Group, has taken delivery of a new bespoke Airbus H175 to supplement its fleet. The aircraft was handed over following test flights in the south of France on 14 May 2025 and will shortly go into service in the North Sea.

OHSUK carries out approximately 6,300 flights a year, providing safe and reliable offshore helicopter transportation and emergency response services to the energy sector. The fleet expansion comes shortly after the second anniversary of Ultimate Aviation's acquisition of OHSUK and underlines the hard work undertaken by the team to transform the business.

OHSUK managing director Martin Stubbs says: “It is great news for us to be taking delivery of this new aircraft. By expanding the fleet, it reinforces our commitment to business resilience and providing the highest quality service to our customers. OHSUK is in a good position, and these are exciting times. We are all working hard to grow the business sustainably and expand our market share.”

Members of the OHSUK team travelled to Airbus' facility in Marignane, near Marseille, to complete the handover of the new helicopter. It will now fly to the UK for its livery to be painted, before going into service.

In September last year it was announced that OHSUK would be taking delivery of two Leonardo AW139s, which will spearhead its SAR fleet. The aircraft are part of a deal that will see the Aberdeen headquartered operator provide SAR to the offshore energy sector for the next decade. The cutting-edge AW139s have been designed with input from industry technical leads, flight crews, engineers and medical staff.

Night vision goggles will be introduced for all crew, there will be a redesign of the cabin layout, and a bright blue and orange livery has been introduced.

Shaun Roseveare, Ultimate Aviation Group CEO, who was in France for the handover of the H175, concludes: “It was tremendous to be with Airbus and collect the new aircraft; these occasions are always a significant milestone. While these are challenging times for everyone across the sector, we continue to deliver a high quality, reliable and safe service, reinforcing our position as a leader in the market. We will push for new business, and the expansion of our fleet demonstrates our determination to drive OHSUK forward successfully.”
