Bristow, the largest S-92 operator, renewed its agreement in April 2025 to support approximately 60 aircraft. Since then, five additional operators, including Offshore Helicopter Services, have renewed their contracts.
These helicopters will join two AW139 SAR helicopters that were ordered by OHS in late 2024 and are planned to enter service in the second quarter of 2026. They will take off from Aberdeen and operate in the North Sea.
Members of the OHSUK team travelled to Airbus' facility in Marignane, near Marseille, to complete the handover of the new helicopter. It will now fly to the UK for its livery to be painted, before going into service.
