Gama Aviation MRO takes advantage of ELMS system
For Gama Aviation, the ELMS Solution provides an immediate overview of all key resources, based on training and certification requirements for each job role. This optimises employee allocation for any given task.
The agreement is a good deal for both parties.

Gama Aviation has signed a new long-term agreement with ELMS Aviation, utilising the company's personnel competence and compliance platform to support the global expansion of the business.

The ELMS Solution, which provides a holistic view of employee competence management, was initially selected by the company's MRO division to help support the next generation of aircraft maintenance and engineering talent. Following its positive impact, the platform's full suite of capabilities is now being rolled out across all aspects of Gama Aviation's business.

Paul Kinch, managing director, Gama Aviation MRO, says: “Gama Aviation MRO is a critical part of our network and plays a big role in developing new engineering talent. With ELMS coming online, we'll be able to better track training, competence, compliance and progression for both new starters and experienced engineers. It's a tool that supports how we grow our people and maintain our standards, and that's what this industry needs more of.”

An intuitive, cloud-based MRO software platform, the ELMS Solution delivers an instantly accessible way of tracking employee qualifications, training and experience to deliver clear and defined staff development and succession pathways. Users can also manage on the job assessments, workflows and complex authorisation processes from any connected device.

Filipe Afonso, head of compliance, MRO at Gama Aviation, states: “The ELMS platform allows us to visualise and manage compliance in a much more dynamic way. It puts critical information in the hands of our engineers, managers and auditors instantly, ensuring that we’re operating to the highest standards across the organisation.”

For Gama Aviation, the ELMS Solution provides an immediate overview of all key resources, based on training and certification requirements for each job role. This optimises employee allocation for any given task across the complex network of services, stations and aircraft types that Gama Aviation supports.

John Scale, general manager, ELMS Aviation, says: “We are thrilled to welcome Gama Aviation to our growing list of customers and showcase the value our digital competence management tool can offer. Now that the platform's full suite of functionality is rolled out across all of Gama Aviation's complex and diverse operations we are looking forward to seeing the impact and added value the ELMS Solution can deliver.”

Key to the extended roll out is the platform's ability to integrate and complement Gama Aviation's existing IT ecosystem. Through its intuitive interface, ELMS users can utilise powerful integration enablers, such as APIs and Webhooks, to seamlessly incorporate the platform into a range of other systems and domains.

The cloud-based architecture, inherent scalability and unrivalled security of the ELMS Solution make it an ideal choice to support Gama Aviation's vast and comprehensive array of capabilities, particularly within business aviation and the bespoke special mission environment.

By providing clear and easy managerial oversight, whilst complementing and feeding into the company's existing SMS architecture, ELMS will become a key factor in continuing to empower critical teams across the company.
