Carlisle earns Wingman status through Flight Leader scheme
The operator took part in Wyvern’s quarterly coaching programme and passed assessment of its systems, safety culture and compliance framework.

U.S. aircraft management and charter provider Carlisle Air Group has achieved recognition as a Wyvern Wingman operator through participation in the Flight Leader Program. This involved quarterly coaching and a review of safety and compliance practices against globally recognised benchmarks.

The Wyvern Wingman standard was the industry’s first charter audit framework and continues to serve as a key performance metric for clients assessing operators. Carlisle’s evaluation covered its internal audit structure, compliance systems, emergency planning, training programmes and approach to safety culture.

Carlisle Air Group president Clifford Russel says: “Safety is Carlisle's top priority. It's more than just a rating; it's a commitment. Partnering with Wyvern reflects our dedication to the highest standards of safety and operational excellence, solidifying client trust, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and positioning us as a leader in the industry with unparalleled credibility.”

Wyvern senior vice president of operations Andrew Day adds: “We are proud to announce that Carlisle Air Group is a Wingman operator. Conforming to the Wyvern Wingman standard is a testament to Carlisle Air Group's culture and commitment to safety. This accomplishment reflects the hard work, diligence and professionalism embedded in its daily operations.”

As part of the Flight Leader Program, Carlisle gains continued access to tailored coaching and operational guidance intended to strengthen long-term safety performance.
