AirSprint marks 25 years with sixth Best Managed title
The company added its 40th aircraft, completed 38,000 flight hours and carbon offset all flights while maintaining Gold Standard status.
AirSprint handled 30 per cent of all Canadian private jet flights in 2024.

AirSprint has been recognised as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for a sixth consecutive year, retaining Gold Standard status while celebrating 25 years of private aviation service. The award recognises excellence in strategy, culture, governance and financial performance among Canadian companies with revenues above $50 million.

Since 2000, the Calgary-based fractional ownership specialist has grown to operate 40 aircraft and handle around 30 per cent of all private jet flights in Canada. It logged nearly 38,000 flight hours last year alone, covering more than 29 million kilometres and connecting fractional owners to 648 destinations.

President and CEO James Elian says: “Earning the 2025 Best Managed Companies recognition is a proud milestone as we celebrate 25 years of service. Since 2000, we've reimagined private aviation, setting new benchmarks for safety, reliability and personalised service.”

The company’s focus on sustainability was underscored with the full offsetting of all its flights from 1 January 2025. It has invested in carbon reduction initiatives and advanced fuel efficiency measures to reduce its environmental impact.

Technology upgrades have also been central to operations, including automated training platforms, enhanced cloud data systems and 5G Wi-Fi across the fleet. Jared Williams, VP operations and COO, says: “Last year, we made meaningful strides through the implementation of advanced technologies that enhance efficiency across every touchpoint of our operations.”

Founder and board chairman Judson T. Macor adds: “As we commemorate this milestone, we reflect on the trust and loyalty our fractional owners have placed in us over the years. We take great pride in helping discerning Canadians achieve their goals and confidently navigate their journeys.”

Fractional ownership with AirSprint supports both business and leisure travel across Canada, the US (including Hawaii), Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe and Central and South America. The company plans to maintain its growth while furthering its commitments to safety, sustainability and innovation.
