OK3 teams with Span to expand Heber Valley facilities
Span Construction began work in March 2025 on OK3 Air’s 31,500 square foot hangar, which will accommodate larger private aircraft and strengthen airport capacity.
The new hangar design includes 30,960 sq. ft. of dedicated aircraft space and a 28-foot-high door.

OK3 Air has started construction on a 31,500 square foot aircraft hangar and airside improvements at Heber Valley Airport (KHCR) in Utah. Span Construction & Engineering, Inc. is serving as general contractor for the project.

The hangar is designed to accommodate Group 2 aircraft and includes 30,960 sq. ft. of hangar space, 487 sq. ft. of internal support area and 540 sq. ft. of office space. It features a 28-foot-high door and a maximum building height of 39' 5.5”.

SPAN is also handling airside improvements including a 20,000 sq. ft. paved ramp, FAA-compliant drainage systems and aircraft markings, and the realignment of the SRE access road. The design accommodates C-II aircraft such as the Bombardier Global 7500.

The development is situated on 11.38 acres and supports Heber Valley Airport’s operational and economic growth.

“We are honoured to serve as general contractor for the OK3 Air project,” says George Goddard, president and CEO of Span Construction & Engineering, Inc. “This development supports critical aviation infrastructure and aligns with our commitment to delivering projects that serve communities and advance industry standards.”

“This new hangar and supporting infrastructure reflect our commitment to aviation excellence and strategic airport growth,” adds Nadim AbuHaidar, owner of OK3 Air. “We are excited to offer expanded capabilities to accommodate the increase in demand by private aircraft, especially in the Global 7500 and G650 category.”

Construction began in March 2025 and completion is expected by January 2026.
