Chapman Freeborn has opened a new operations base in Lithuania to meet rising demand for government and ad hoc passenger charters across Eastern Europe and the Baltics.
Following a restructure of its European operations, the appointment of a general sales agent in Eastern Europe and the creation of a European music and entertainment division, Chapman Freeborn says the move extends its service offering across the continent.
James Edwards, vice president passenger, Europe, says: “Demand for government and ad hoc passenger charters across the Baltic region and Eastern Europe has continued to grow steadily over the last year. This is a proven market with vast amounts of potential and I look forward to working closely with our new team in Lithuania as we continue to expand our European network.”
Chapman Freeborn will also leverage the support of parent company Avia Solutions Group, headquartered in Vilnius, along with other partner companies in the group.
This follows the appointment of Francisco Serrano as director of passenger charters for Iberia last month, part of the broker’s wider European expansion.
