McCauley secures Brazil certification for B300 prop
The company has gained approval from ANAC for its C780 propeller, offering weight savings and noise reductions for King Air B300 operators in Brazil.
King Air B300 owners can install the C780 without additional modifications at Textron Aviation or McCauley service centres.

McCauley Propeller Systems has achieved certification from Brazil’s Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil (ANAC) for its latest C780 propeller, designed for the Beechcraft King Air B300 series. The propeller features four aluminium swept blades with a 105-inch diameter. Brazil has the second largest installed base of Beechcraft King Air turboprops in the world.

Jason Hull, vice president and general manager of McCauley Propeller Systems, says: “The high-performance McCauley C780 propeller, with its lightweight scimitar blade design, will improve the flying experience for over 700 King Airs in Brazil. The propeller offers versatility and performance enhancements to equip customers in the region with smart solutions for their unique missions and circumstances.”

With the new C780, King Air B300 owners and operators will benefit from propeller weight savings of more than 50 pounds compared to previous options, increased takeoff and climb performance, reduced noise in the cabin and cockpit, and an extended Time Between Overhaul (TBO) of 5,000 hours or 72 months.

Textron Aviation's limited propeller warranty of 5,000 hours or 36 months also applies. Installation can be completed at Textron Aviation service centres or authorised McCauley facilities without any additional modifications.
