Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations receives L410 NG
The multi-purpose aircraft features advanced technology, and its ability to operate in temperatures from -50 to +50 Celsius makes it ideal for emergency response operations.
The handover ceremony was attended by top representatives of the Omnipol Group, including vice president for sales and commercial Artem Movsesyan, and Major General Chingis Arinov, the Kazakh Minister of Emergency Situations.

A ceremony held in Kazakhstan in late March marked the handover of an L410 NG aircraft from Aircraft Industries, a.s., an Omnipol Group company, to the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations. The aircraft will be used to save lives during natural disasters, accidents and other emergencies across the country.

The ceremony was attended by top representatives of the Omnipol Group, including vice president for sales and commercial Artem Movsesyan, and Major General Chingis Arinov, the Kazakh Minister of Emergency Situations. In his speech, Arinov emphasised that the L410 NG will significantly increase the mobility of the country’s rescue services. "The aircraft will allow us to quickly move rescuers, equipment and humanitarian aid to the most remote corners of our country. It will thus be a reliable assistant in our work," he said.

By the end of the year, three additional L410 NG aircraft will be delivered, with negotiations underway for additional supply. The L410 NG is a multi-purpose aircraft, and was delivered to Kazakhstan with various interchangeable kits, including versions for passenger, cargo, ambulance and paratrooper transport. There was also a version with biohazard boxes for transporting patients with infectious diseases, which is produced by only three airlines in the world.

The multi-purpose nature of the aircraft, its reliability, and its ability to operate in extreme climatic conditions from -50 to +50 degrees Celsius make it ideal for the needs of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations. In addition, it can take off and land on unpaved runways of only 500m in length.

This is not the first time Kazakhstan has received the L410 model. The Omnipol Group previously supplied two L410 UVP-E20 aircraft to the Kazakh Ministry of Defence, but this is the first delivery of the latest generation of the aircraft to Kazakhstan, which offers improved flight performance, advanced operational characteristics and modern technologies such as Garmin 3000 avionics.

Like all L410 aircraft, the NG variant is designed, developed and manufactured by Omnipol’s Czech subsidiary Aircraft Industries, with 617 Czech companies involved in its production.
