Safety Stand Down 2025 will focus on digital documentation
Held at Hotel del Coronado, San Diego, the event will address the impact of digital documentation on aviation safety and compliance, with expert-led discussions and training sessions.
Last year's event saw 100 attendees, with 130 expected this year.

The Southern California Aviation Association (SCAA) Safety Stand Down is returning on 15 May 2025, alongside Web Manuals' annual international user conference, Go Digital US. Taking place at Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, the joint Safety Day initiative will focus on the critical role of digital documentation in enhancing aviation safety and compliance.

Taking ‘Building a Culture of Safety’ as this year's theme, the event will include insightful discussions and break-out training sessions led by top aviation safety experts, supporting improved decision-making and safety management.

Justin Raymond, director of operations, Americas, at Web Manuals, says: “Returning for a second year since its relaunch in 2024, this day holds significant importance in bringing industry professionals together to discuss aviation safety, offering an opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen initiatives across the region. As title sponsor, we look forward to collaborating with SCAA again to plan and host the event, as well as contributing our expertise in digital documentation to the roundtable and the panel discussion we are moderating: ‘From knowledge to action: best practices in safety intelligence’.”

Last year's event saw 100 attendees, with 130 expected this year, reflecting the growing interest in compliance and safety in an increasingly digitalised industry. The SCAA Safety Stand Down continues to serve as an essential platform for the aviation industry, offering educational opportunities, networking and mentorship for the next generation of aviation professionals.
