Galaxy breaks ground on fourth Houston Hobby hangar
The new hangar, measuring 370 by 78 feet, will add 29,000 square feet of dedicated aircraft storage space to the site.
The 29,000 sq ft structure is due to be completed by December 2025.

Galaxy FBO has started construction on a new hangar at its facility at Houston William P. Hobby Airport. The hangar, which will measure 370 feet by 78 feet, will offer around 29,000 square feet of dedicated aircraft storage space. It is designed to handle a wide range of aircraft and is expected to be completed by December 2025.

This will be the fourth hangar at Galaxy’s Hobby Airport campus, which already includes over 108,000 square feet of storage space, a two-storey FBO and offices, covered parking and space for ground support equipment. The FBO is located near the U.S. Customs office in the south general aviation area.

Regional manager John Bridi says: “We are thrilled to expand our presence at Houston Hobby Airport with the addition of our fourth hangar. This project reinforces our dedication to providing exceptional services and infrastructure for our customers. We look forward to delivering this premium facility and further enhancing our support for the Houston aviation community.”

The project reflects Galaxy FBO’s ongoing growth and its commitment to meeting demand in the Houston corporate aviation sector.
