SkyWay gains approval for redesigned Mustang cabin step
The three-step SkyStep was developed following extensive user feedback and will be sold by Textron Aviation service centres and SkyWay-MRO.
The new Mustang SkyStep uses three steps instead of two to make entry easier.

SkyWay Group has secured FAA approval for its latest SkyStep cabin step, tailored to the Cessna Citation Mustang C510. STC #SA04747NY applies to all variants of the light jet.

SkyWay says the step is the result of years of user feedback and prior design evolution. The company has manufactured it from high-strength aircraft aluminium, enclosing the back and sides to minimise slipping and improve security. Other changes include the introduction of a third step, a gentler ground clearance height for easier access, and a gas strut to control deployment.

The new SkyStep will be sold via Textron Aviation service centres and SkyWay-MRO, with pricing in line with existing SkyStep models for the C500 to C525. The original SkyStep, already FAA and EASA certified, remains available for the Citation 500, 501SP, 550, 551SP, S550, 560, 525, 525A and 525B.

“Our new SkyStep represents the culmination of years of valuable customer feedback and continuous design enhancements. With its sleek, organic design and precision craftsmanship, it's not just an upgrade; it's a major step forward in innovation, delivering unparalleled strength and performance,” says SkyWay Group CEO Mark Huffstutler.
