Tecnam’s twin-piston fleet bolsters Nationwide Aviation training offer
Three P2006Ts were acquired by the Texas-based flight school to strengthen transition training for multi-engine aircraft careers.
The flight school has trained over 1,000 students since it was founded 13 years ago.

Tecnam has supplied its first P2006T aircraft to Nationwide Aviation, with two more to follow in the coming weeks. The additions form part of a broader partnership aiming to expand the Texan flight school’s multi-engine training capability.

Nationwide says the investment supports students making the jump from single to multi-engine operations, with the twin-engine aircraft offering modern Garmin avionics and a user-friendly learning curve. The school, which has trained over 1,000 students in the past 13 years, offers programmes for both professional and recreational pilots.

Nationwide Aviation CEO Trevor Hall says: “The addition of Tecnam's P2006T aircraft to our fleet reflects our dedication to innovation, safety and excellence in pilot education. With these aircraft, our students will benefit from advanced avionics and an unparalleled training experience.”

Tecnam’s Walter Da Costa adds: “We are excited to collaborate with Nationwide Aviation to provide its students with the best in multi-engine flight training. The P2006T is designed to offer an exceptional training experience, ensuring pilots develop the skills and confidence needed for a successful aviation career.”

The P2006T is known for its fuel efficiency and lightweight design, making it a cost-effective option for schools prioritising realistic but accessible twin-engine training.
