Luxaviation integrates live carbon calculator into app
Real-time emissions tracking, offsetting and SAF options have been made available through the group’s Green Legacy digital ecosystem.
The app enables live tracking of emissions and instant offsetting.

Luxaviation Group has integrated the business aviation sector’s first real-time carbon calculator into its mobile app as part of its Green Legacy sustainability platform.

The development enables private aviation users to monitor their emissions per flight, purchase carbon offsets instantly and choose sustainable aviation fuel blends through a single interface. Built in collaboration with Wayfinder AI and Envalor, the tool combines automated calculations with flexible user interaction and is targeted at aircraft owners, charter customers and business travellers.

“Sustainability in private aviation is not a future ambition; it is an immediate responsibility,” says Luxaviation Group CEO Patrick Hansen. “Luxaviation is committed to establishing a new industry standard by integrating sustainability into every aspect of our operations, from fleet management to digital innovation.”

CTO Pieter Steyn adds: “Unlike conventional carbon offset programmes, Luxaviation today empowers clients to actively monitor and personalise their sustainability contributions through a seamless digital experience. Technology plays a pivotal role in advancing sustainability forward.”

The app supports Luxaviation’s wider environmental goals, which include electrifying ground fleets and increasing access to SAF. Further Green Legacy enhancements will add loyalty tracking, sustainability reports and improved fuel availability.
