Microflite brings in 20th Airbus helicopter with H125 addition
The versatile single-engine aircraft supports firefighting and land missions, strengthening a 20-year partnership with Airbus Helicopters.
The H125 features a touchscreen cockpit and Airbus-developed engine monitoring display.

Melbourne-based rotary operator Microflite has ordered another H125 from Airbus Helicopters, marking its 20th Airbus helicopter acquisition. The new aircraft continues Microflite’s strategy of using the H125 as the core of its utility fleet.

“At Microflite, we're committed to the highest standards and levels of safety for our customers and our team, which is part of the reason we keep adding Airbus Helicopters to our existing fleet,” says Jonathan Booth, the company's CEO. “Across the range of Airbus Airbus platforms that we currently fly, the H125 is definitely our go-to for all utility work, whether it's for firefighting, general air work or land management.”

Microflite’s fleet includes the H120, H125, AS350, H130, H135 and the five-bladed H145. The H125 features a glass cockpit with Garmin G500H TXi and Airbus’s VEMD system, helping pilots monitor key systems and reduce workload.
