The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is set to take delivery of three Cessna 208 Caravans equipped with wireless installations from CNC Technologies. Under the agreement, CNC will procure the aircraft, design the comprehensive mission suite package and manage the integration process.

The aircraft will be equipped with advanced surveillance and mapping technology, including the Wescam MX15 and Shotover mapping systems. This sophisticated mission equipment will enhance CHP’s aerial law enforcement capabilities across California. Additionally, CNC will provide its renowned service, support and training programme.

This procurement brings the total to four Cessna Caravans purchased by CHP from CNC, further expanding the agency’s aerial surveillance coverage and operational capabilities throughout California. The first aircraft was delivered last year, with these three new aircraft continuing the partnership.

“We are honoured to continue our strategic partnership with the California Highway Patrol,” says Alex Giuffrida, founding partner at CNC Technologies. “This latest acquisition further establishes CHP as one of the most technologically advanced aerial law enforcement agencies worldwide.”

The addition of these aircraft to CHP’s fleet reinforces the company’s commitment to providing aviation solutions that enhance public safety and operational efficiency. By equipping agencies with the latest technology and comprehensive support, CNC continues to advance the capabilities of law enforcement aviation nationwide.
