Skyryse and United Rotorcraft to expand SkyOS integration
The MRO provider will support SkyOS adoption across Robinson, Airbus and Black Hawk helicopters, enhancing automation and safety in rotorcraft operations.
Both companies have highlighted the potential of SkyOS-equipped Black Hawks for wildfire suppression efforts.

Skyryse has partnered with United Rotorcraft to provide FAA Part 145 maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services as it begins shipping Skyryse One, a Robinson R66 helicopter modified with the SkyOS operating system. The agreement also supports the introduction of SkyOS into Airbus H125 and H130 helicopters and the potential integration into Black Hawk variants.

“Our collaboration with United Rotorcraft represents a significant step forward in making aviation safer and more capable,” says Skyryse founder and CEO Dr. Mark Groden. “Adding United Rotorcraft to the team gives us additional scale to deploy SkyOS more quickly and efficiently across multiple aircraft.”

United Rotorcraft president Larry Alexandre adds: “We see SkyOS as becoming an industry standard and are excited to be accelerating the speed of adoption across existing rotorcraft fleets.”

The partnership marks the start of a long-term collaboration, with plans for further expansion into other aircraft platforms and avionics systems. Both companies also see SkyOS-equipped Black Hawk helicopters playing a key role in wildfire suppression efforts.
