Synerjet strengthens Leonardo partnership with AW169 order
The company purchased two AW169 utility helicopters and secured AW09 distribution rights across five Latin American countries.
Synerjet's order, due for delivery at the end of 2027, was announced at Verticon 2025 in Dallas.

Synerjet Latina SA has strengthened its partnership with Leonardo, ordering two AW169 light-intermediate helicopters in utility configuration for delivery in late 2027. Additionally, the company has been appointed as the official distributor for the AW09 single-engine helicopter in its existing markets across Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador and Paraguay.

Since beginning its collaboration with Leonardo, Synerjet has ordered nine helicopters of various models and signed preliminary sales contracts for five AW09s. The AW09 continues to gain traction globally, complementing Leonardo’s product range with its digital capabilities and multirole performance.

The AW169 remains in high demand, with over 330 units on order across 30 countries for roles including VIP transport, EMS, firefighting and military operations. Latin America remains a key market for both the AW169 and AW09, reinforcing the region’s importance to Leonardo’s rotorcraft business.
