Sloane expands AW109 GrandNew orders in UK and Ireland
Five additional AW109 GrandNew helicopters will be delivered between late 2026 and mid-2027, strengthening Leonardo’s regional presence.
The signing of the deal took place at Verticon 2025 in Dallas.

UK-based Sloane Helicopters has ordered five more AgustaWestland AW109 GrandNew helicopters at Verticon 2025 in Dallas, with deliveries set between late 2026 and mid-2027. The order follows the company's 2024 purchase of a utility-configured AW109 GrandNew, which is due for handover in early 2026.

Sloane has worked with Leonardo for 30 years, delivering over 100 helicopters in the UK and Ireland. The company also serves as an authorised service centre and type rating training provider.

In 2024, Sloane was named the official UK and Ireland distributor for the AW09, securing preliminary sales contracts for nine units.
