After 15 years at Bell Flight, where he contributed to developing advanced aviation solutions, Botts will now focus on expanding Outerlink’s IRIS and Air IP technologies to improve connectivity, safety and efficiency in remote operations.
Botts began his career as an avionics technician in the U.S. Air Force, gaining direct operational insight into rotorcraft and remote asset management. Outerlink VP of sales Jeff Warner says: “His deep technical expertise, combined with a customer-centric approach, makes him an invaluable asset as we continue to push the boundaries of remote operations technology. His leadership will play a pivotal role in bringing our next-generation solutions to market.”
Botts' appointment comes as Outerlink prepares to introduce a new satellite communications system for real-time data transfer in challenging environments. The company is also rolling out AI-powered analytics tools to enhance decision-making and efficiency in sectors such as energy, law enforcement and air medical transport.
Botts adds: “This is an incredibly exciting time to join Outerlink. The company is at the forefront of innovation, solving some of the biggest challenges in remote aviation technology. I look forward to working with our customers to deliver solutions that improve safety, reliability and connectivity in the field.”
