PrismJet meets global standards through Wingman
The expertise and mentoring that the Wyvern team provides is second to none, according to PrismJet. Aviation is a serious business, and having a partner in Wyvern makes its operation the best it can be.

Scottsdale, Arizona-based management and charter company PrismJet has earned Wyvern Wingman operator designation through the Flight Leader Program with quarterly coaching by Wyvern. The Flight Leader Program is designed with collaboration to custom-tailor the focus areas best suited for each organisation. As PrismJet has experienced, the Flight Leader Program Coach enables the cross-pollination of industry best practices between operators and helps avoid pitfalls that might not otherwise be recognisable.

PrismJet is fortunate to be among the elite group of Wingman operators,” says Todd Pixley, president of PrismJet. “The expertise and mentoring that the Wyvern team provides is second to none. Aviation is a serious business, and having a partner in Wyvern makes our operation the best it can be.”

The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services. Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an evaluation of operational activities, a review of the company's operational history and safety records, SMS, an internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.

“We commend PrismJet for successfully achieving its Wingman certification, which not only validates its safety management system for international compliance, but also verifies its conformance to the highest global standards and industry professional codes of practice in operations and aircraft maintenance,” says Andrew Day, Wyvern senior vice president, operations. “As a participant in the Flight Leader Program, PrismJet not only reinforces its dedication to safety and operational integrity, but also gains access to tailored coaching and best practices that drive continuous improvement and safety innovation.”
