South Californian private operator Silver Air has promoted Taylor Barwick to vice president of charter sales. This strategic appointment follows the recent expansion of Silver Air's leadership team and reinforces the company's commitment to strengthening its charter operations.

Barwick brings extensive experience in charter sales, aircraft brokerage and aviation business development to this role. His promotion reflects Silver Air's continued investment in developing internal talent and enhancing its charter service capabilities.

“Taylor's deep understanding of charter operations and proven track record in building strong industry relationships make him the ideal leader for our wholesale charter division,” says Brandon Martin, president of Silver Air. “His expertise in optimising fleet utilisation and developing innovative solutions aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver exceptional service to our partners while driving continued growth.”

Prior to his promotion, Barwick served as charter sales advisor at Silver Air, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership in charter operations and strategic sales development. His background includes key positions at Prima Air/ Pegasus Elite Aviation, Avinode Group and Jet Edge International, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership to his new role.

“I am honoured to join the leadership team and expand my responsibility at Silver Air,” states Taylor Barwick. “Our wholesale charter division plays a crucial role in maximising fleet efficiency and delivering value to our aircraft owners. I look forward to working with our talented team to enhance our charter operations and strengthen relationships with our wholesale clients and industry partners.”

In his new position, Barwick will lead Silver Air's wholesale charter operations, focusing on optimising quote processing, enhancing sales support and executing strategic initiatives. He will also serve as the subject matter expert on Silver Air's charter management software, JetsInsight, while developing innovative solutions to enhance day-to-day charter operations.

This appointment comes as Silver Air continues to expand its services and strengthen its position as the industry leader in private aviation, building upon its recent Wyvern Wingman PRO certification and IS-BAO Stage III designation.

Silver Air has also appointed Mark Nardi-Dei as executive vice president of aircraft management.

With extensive experience in ultra-high net worth and corporate client relationships, Nardi-Dei brings a proven track record of operational excellence and strategic growth to Silver Air. His appointment aligns with the company's continued expansion of its managed fleet and commitment to delivering exceptional service across its worldwide operations.

“Mark's impressive background in aviation management and his dedication to customer service excellence make him an ideal addition to our leadership team,” says Jason Middleton, CEO of Silver Air. “His expertise in managing complex aircraft operations and building strong client relationships will be invaluable as we continue to grow our fleet and enhance our service offerings.”

Prior to joining Silver Air, Nardi-Dei served as senior vice president of aircraft ownership advisory at Aviation Portfolio, where he led comprehensive aviation services for clients, managing aircraft acquisitions and operations while ensuring superior customer experiences. His track record includes successfully expanding an aircraft operator from five to 250 employees and growing a fleet from one to 32 aircraft, achieving $450 million in annual sales within four years.

“I am excited to join Silver Air, a company known for its innovative approach to aircraft management and unwavering commitment to safety and service,” states Mark Nardi-Dei. “I look forward to contributing to Silver Air's continued growth while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence that our clients expect.”

In his new role, Nardi-Dei will oversee Silver Air's expanding fleet of luxury aircraft, ranging from light to long-range heavy jets, while focusing on enhancing client relationships and operational efficiency. His multilingual capabilities in Italian and French will further support Silver Air's international operations and client base.
