Luxaviation has extended its partnership with Satcom Direct and Gogo Business Aviation through a second three-year preferred supplier agreement. The renewed collaboration, first established in 2021, expands the connectivity options available to Luxaviation customers, providing access to Gogo Galileo phased array antennae and North American air-to-ground (ATG) services.
The agreement provides access to Gogo Galileo phased array antennae and North American air-to-ground connectivity. Luxaviation will continue to use Satcom Direct’s SD Plane Simple terminals, flight deck connectivity and round-the-clock customer support. The service also enables customers to optimise broadband with Gogo Galileo’s HDX and FDX phased array terminals.
“The Gogo|SD offering brings real value to our business and, more importantly, our customers by enabling us to deliver broadband connection, regardless of aircraft size,” says Stuart Williamson, MD of Luxaviation’s technical services. “Customers expect to be connected all the time and with this renewed agreement, we have the confidence that we can provide uninterrupted broadband to our customers wherever they travel.”
Gogo|Satcom Direct works with satellite providers such as Intelsat, Viasat and Eutelsat OneWeb to offer GEO, LEO and ATG connectivity tailored to customer needs.
Dave Falberg, SVP sales, EMEA APAC at Gogo|Satcom Direct, adds: “The expanded portfolio means we can help our customers curate multi-band, multi-orbit connectivity to support all their connectivity needs.”
