BAS Part Sales has expanded beyond aviation parts distribution and is now offering salvaged aircraft for film, TV, museums and themed attractions. Following its 2023 acquisition of White Industries, now BAS Kansas City, the company is repurposing aircraft for creative projects.
Recent projects include a King Air for Paramount+ series Landman, a Hawker 125 for Ride or Die, and a Saab 340 for an Apple TV production. Other aircraft have been used for emergency training, Halloween displays and winery attractions, while a Lockheed Jetstar's components are featured in a museum exhibit by The Ian Fleming Foundation.
Clinton McJenkin, director of sales and marketing at BAS Part Sales, says: “Our expansion into the entertainment market represents not only a significant opportunity for creative storytelling but also a chance to repurpose aircraft in exciting new ways.”
Jared Boles, founder and president of BAS Part Sales, adds: “The acquisition of White Industries marked a transformative moment for our company, and we continue to see that momentum as we explore untapped markets.”
BAS Part Sales continues to support traditional aviation needs through its e-commerce platform, offering detailed listings, global shipping and a 90-day money-back guarantee. The company also provides logistical support for aircraft transport, ensuring efficient delivery to its diverse customer base.
