flyExclusive has been named a winner in the 2025 Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings calendar contest, earning recognition for two aircraft paint schemes in a single year. The winning Hawker 800XP and Beechcraft 350 were painted at the company’s 12,000-square-foot electrostatic painting and coating facility in Kinston, North Carolina.

The awards mark the third consecutive year flyExclusive has been recognised for its aircraft painting achievements. Mike Guina, chief commercial officer at flyExclusive, says: “This recognition, combined with our strong order book for 2025, is a testament to the quality and precision that our MRO teams delivers every day. When we were awarded Part 145 certification in 2023, we knew that our mandate was to build one of the finest MRO divisions in the United States. I'm pleased to report that our industry peers, partners and, most importantly, our customers are taking note of the superior quality of our work, our attention to detail and our obsession with customer satisfaction.”

The company's electrostatic painting facility is the first of its kind in the southeastern US, capable of handling aircraft up to the size of a Gulfstream IV and Falcon 900. The operation provides aircraft exterior design services for both flyExclusive’s fleet and third-party operators, with senior paint team members each bringing over 20 years of experience.

flyExclusive’s paint team has completed work on aircraft from Citation, Gulfstream, Hawker, King Air, Falcon and Bombardier. Their facility includes three 12,000-square-foot hangars equipped with full downdraft booths and filtration systems to minimise emissions, climate-controlled conditions and an electrostatic paint process that improves material efficiency while reducing downtime.
