OGaraJets pleased with West Star Global 6000 inspection
After the Global inspection was completed, the aircraft was sold and the new owner opted for new paint, interior and Starlink installation in the aircraft with all work to be performed by West Star Chattanooga.

US MRO specialist West Star Aviation's Lovell Field facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee has completed its first 120-month inspection on a Global 6000 aircraft.

The 120-month inspection is a major maintenance event that involves a thorough dismantling of the aircraft's cabin, extensive structural inspections of the airframe and a complete overhaul of the landing gear. This process addresses any necessary service bulletins or upgrades and is a comprehensive check of the aircraft after 10 years of operation. The downtime required for this inspection ranges from 12 to 14 weeks on average.

The inspection was completed on time and on budget for customer OGaraJets, a private aircraft brokerage, with two squawk-free flights prior to delivery. “I am very pleased with West Star team's diligent oversight and execution of the 8C inspection on the Global,” says Johnny Foster, president and CEO of OGaraJets. “We appreciate the strong working relationship between our companies and look forward to enjoying much more partnered success in 2025.”

“Our Chattanooga team is proud to be able to deliver once again for our friends and partners at OGaraJets with a smooth 120-month inspection on the Global 6000,” adds Connor Mottice, technical sales manager, Bombardier/Embraer, West Star Aviation. “As a leader in the aircraft acquisition and sales space, it means a lot that OGaraJets continues to trust West Star Aviation for these major events.”

Shortly after the Global inspection was completed, the aircraft was sold and the new owner opted for new paint, interior and Starlink installation in the aircraft with all work to be performed by West Star Aviation's Chattanooga facility.

With Chattanooga recently securing the proper tooling, approvals and training for these events, the company is pleased to have expanded its Global capabilities to a total of three of its full-service MRO locations. While this inspection was a first for this location, West Star Aviation's East Alton, Illinois, and Grand Junction, Colorado, facilities have established solid reputations on this airframe and have completed numerous 120-month Global inspections in the past.
