entrol, a manufacturer of EASA and FAA certified flight simulators, has successfully installed two H1000 simulators at Korea Aviation High School. This development is intended to strengthen the institution's training capabilities, offering students state-of-the-art tools for initial aviation training.

The simulators, classified as advanced aviation training devices and based on the Bell 505 helicopter, feature a compact design aimed at operational efficiency and student accessibility. Key specifications include fully equipped dual-control cabins designed without windows or doors to maximise focus on instrumentation. They are supported by cylindrical visual systems with a 200º x 40º field of view powered by X-plane 11, ensuring clarity and immersion. Additionally, a high-definition visual database covers major global airports, including Incheon and Singapore Changi, among others.

The simulators also feature a reduced-size instructor operating station for streamlined management and monitoring. These features allow students to engage in realistic, scenario-based training in a safe environment.

Juanjo Lechosa, business manager at entrol, says: "This project marks a significant achievement for entrol as we continue to expand our presence in Asia. By equipping Korea Aviation High School with advanced simulation technology, we are supporting the development of highly skilled pilots who are ready to meet the demands of the aviation industry."
