Bell Textron is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Amsterdam service centre, a key component of its operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Established in 1974, the facility has been a vital hub for providing support and services to Bell customers throughout the region.

Located only 10 minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol airport, the Bell service centre benefits from one of the world’s most connected logistics infrastructures, with easy access to rail, road and waterways. The Amsterdam service centre handles the sales and distribution of Bell parts to independent representatives, authorised maintenance centres (AMC), customer service facilities and operators throughout EMEA. In addition, the facility supports Aeronautical Accessories sales to regional operators, manages repairs, coordinates third-party vendor purchases and delivers goods in free circulation across the EU. In addition to supporting Bell aircraft in the region, the team provides support for Agusta-Bell models including component and blade repairs for that fleet.

“This 50 year milestone of the Amsterdam service centre represents its integral role in supporting Bell’s EMEA customers. The team has provided superb aftermarket support to keep customers flying and is a pioneer in successful service. The team looks forward to supporting Bell’s continuously expanding footprint in Europe and supporting current and legacy aircraft operators,” says Chris Schaefer, vice president, global customer solutions.

The facility supports a warehouse space of 1,876sqm (over 20,000sq ft) and maintains more than 8,100 stock-keeping units. With ISO 9001:2015 certification, the centre upholds rigorous standards of quality management, ensuring high levels of service and operational efficiency.
