Austria-based full-flight simulator manufacturer Axis Flight Simulation is putting cutting-edge virtual and mixed reality (VR/MR) technologies at the forefront of pilot training, collaborating with Hungarian software development studio Propair Flight.

Seamlessly blending traditional and forward-thinking training methods, the partnership will combine Axis’ industry-leading ISO 9001-2015 and EASA/FAA Level D certified simulators with Propair’s advanced VR and MR integration.

Not only does this ensure they stay ahead in a rapidly changing industry, it will further reduce flight crew training times and cost, and ease the workload for both instructors and trainees.

This includes Propair’s hand-and-eye-tracking software, which enhances cockpit interactivity through comprehensive flight and biometric data on pilot performance, situational awareness and stress management.
