Lider signs for G450 out of Catarina Executive
The jet will join the fleet through Líder's aircraft management service, in which it manages equipment owned by third parties, including airport services, maintenance, crew, fuelling, renewal of licences and certifications.
The jet will make connections all over Latin America.

Lider Aviacao has added a Gulfstream G450 jet to its fleet dedicated to air charter services. The aircraft, owned by a third party, will be managed by the company.

The Gulfstream G450 seats up to 16 passengers and has a maximum range of 8,100 km, which allows direct flights from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to all of Latin America, as well as to Florida in the southeast of the USA. It is possible to make the trip with just one stopover, departing from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

“With this new contract, we will further expand flight possibilities, especially to international destinations. Our charter customers gain in convenience, with the possibility of travelling to the US more quickly,” explains Bruna Assumpção, superintendent of Lider Aviacao.

The jet will join the fleet through Líder's aircraft management service, in which it manages equipment owned by third parties, including airport services, maintenance, crew, fuelling, renewal of licences and certifications, and aviation insurance. And with the opportunity to charter flights for third parties, the owner can monetise their aircraft, reducing their costs.

According to Assumpção: “Management in executive aviation is a true win-win. Líder wins by including a current, modern, long-range jet in its fleet, customers win by having another aircraft available for international flights and the owner gains security and peace of mind by having the expertise of a company with over 65 years in this market managing his aircraft, and he can also generate savings by making it available for charter when he is not using the equipment.”

With the arrival of the Gulfstream G450, Líder's fleet for specific use in air taxi will reach 16 aircraft, including jets such as Hondajet, Learjet, Phenom and Hawker, turboprops such as King Air and the Airbus H-145 helicopter. The aircraft are authorised for operation throughout Brazil and abroad and have dedicated operations at Líder's 21 bases, spread across the five regions of Brazil. The company is the only one in Brazil to have IS-BAO Stage III certification, granted by IBAC, for charter services.

Based in Catarina Executive airport, the Gulfstream G450 is expected to be available to charter customers from November 2024.
