CHC Helikopter Service, the Norwegian division of CHC Helicopter, has successfully secured a new contract with oil and gas company Harbour Energy for operations in the Norwegian North Sea. This follows Harbour Energy’s acquisition of Wintershall Dea’s upstream assets.

The contract spans 17 months with the option for a one-year extension, and CHC will provide crew change and transportation services for several drilling campaigns in Norway with its Sikorsky S-92.

Helge Aase Nesvåg, senior commercial director EMEA-E at CHC, states: “Harbour Energy’s decision to extend our partnership highlights its trust in CHC’s ability to deliver superior, safe and reliable crew transportation services in some of the industry’s most demanding conditions.”

Beyond supporting the energy sector with clients such as Aker BP, Equinor and OKEA, CHC Helicopter continues to expand its life-saving SAR and HEMS missions globally. These operations currently extend to Norway, Australia, Brazil, the UK and the Netherlands.
