Wyvern has launched its Wyvern Airways podcast series which is designed to elevate aviation safety with support from Wyvern team members and aviation industry experts who share their experiences and insights on a wide range of safety topics.
“Trent Corcia is our host. Trent is a former US Air Force C-130 navigator and Airline Transport Pilot rated pilot. Trent joined Wyvern earlier this year as our vice president of operations support. We are delighted to have our dear friend and client Marcela White as our first guest for episode one,” comments CEO Sonnie Bates. “We are excited about producing the Wyvern Airways podcast. This podcast series is one more way that we are demonstrating our commitment to adding value to our current and prospective customers. When thousands of us collectively increase our focus on safety, everyone wins.”
The first episode features White, who is a co-owner of Houston, Texas-based Part 135 Tavaero Jet Charter, Corp. She has more than 35 years of aviation industry experience and is a licensed pilot, certified cabin attendant, reliable source for media and a panelist on safety topics for industry conferences and events. White, whose company recently earned the Wyvern Wingman PRO designation by achieving excellence through its ongoing participation in Wyvern's Flight Leader Program, offers her perspectives on implementing a safety management system, fostering and maintaining a strong safety culture and ways to get SMS buy-in from upper management and/or owners.
“Wyvern's mission is to elevate aerospace safety worldwide, and our vision is to be the leader in global aerospace safety solutions. The Wyvern Airways podcast represents another step toward furthering our reach,” says Corcia. “Kris Stewart, senior manager of safety support, is my cohost, and she brings a wealth of aviation experience with her airline and charter background.”
The audience for the podcast includes charter jet operators, charter helicopter operators, UAS operators, corporate flight departments, aerospace and defence original equipment manufacturers, charter brokers, MROs, FBOs and others interested in learning about and promoting aviation safety.
