CHC will provide North Sea crew change and transportation for Norwegian O&G operator DNO.

CHC Helikopter Service, the Norwegian division of CHC Helicopter Group, has signed a new contract with Norwegian oil and gas operator DNO to support its operations in the North Sea. CHC and DNO have a history of collaboration that dates back several years.

Under this contract, CHC Helikopter Service will provide crew change and transportation services for two key rigs: the Noble Invincible and the Deepsea Yantai. Operations for the Noble Invincible, located at the Falstaff wells under Licence No. PL1086, are set to commence at the end of August 2024. The Deepsea Yantai, operating at the Kjøttkake wells under Licence No. PL1182S, will begin operations in December 2024/January 2025. These critical missions will be supported by CHC's Sikorsky S-92 aircraft, known for its exceptional performance and safety record in offshore missions.

Helge Aase Nesvåg, senior commercial director EMEA-E, CHC, comments: “DNO's decision to continue this partnership underscores its confidence in CHC's ability to deliver a superior, safe, reliable and efficient crew transportation services in some of the most challenging environments.”

CHC Helikopter Service has been at the forefront of offshore helicopter operations for decades, offering unparalleled experience and a fleet equipped with the latest technology to ensure operational excellence. This contract further cements CHC's position as the preferred partner for offshore transportation in the region.

In addition to supporting other companies in the energy market, including Aker BP, Equinor and OKEA, CHC Helicopter is expanding its life-saving search and rescue and helicopter emergency medical service missions globally. It currently has projects in Norway, Australia, Brazil, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
