When aviation safety and risk management company Wyvern launched its Wyvern Way of Safety podcast series recently, designed to elevate aviation safety with support from Wyvern team members and other aviation industry experts who share their stories and insights on a wide range of relevant safety topics, they chose Tavero Jet Charter co-owner Marcela White as the first guest.

White shared her perspectives on several relevant topics: implementing a safety management system; fostering and maintaining a strong safety culture; and ways to get SMS buy-in from upper management and/or owners. Tavaero Jet Charter recently earned the Wyvern Wingman PRO designation by achieving excellence through its ongoing participation in Wyvern's Flight Leader Program.

White has been invited to serve as a regular guest for the podcast. She has more than 35 years of aviation industry experience and is a licensed pilot, certified cabin attendant, reliable source for media and a panellist on safety topics for industry conferences and events.

The podcast is hosted by former US Air Force C-130 Navigator and Airline Transport Pilot rated pilot Trent Corcia, who joined Wyvern earlier this year as vice president of operations support. Its audience includes charter jet operators, charter helicopter operators, UAS operators, corporate flight departments, aerospace and defence original equipment manufacturers, charter brokers, MROs, FBOs and others interested in learning about and promoting aviation safety.
