Jet Aviation has completed the construction of a new Scottsdale airport facility in Arizona in partnership with NetJets. The newly constructed facility on Jet Aviation’s leasehold will serve as an exclusive-use service hub for NetJets clients, comprising a passenger terminal, administration offices, aircraft hangar storage and aircraft maintenance.

The construction commenced in April 2022 and was completed in just over two years on 31 May, showcasing the efficiency and expertise offered by the budding partnership. The facility officially began operations on 5 August.

“We are thrilled with the success of this project and deeply grateful to our team and our partners for making it happen,” says Danny Larsen, VP of business development and real estate. “This project is a major accomplishment in itself, but its true value lies in the potential for a fruitful, ongoing partnership with NetJets.”

Attached to the hangar is a two-storey, 11,500 sq ft customer terminal and administrative facility overlooking the airport and nearby mountains.

Jet Aviation will take on the responsibilities of line service, fuelling and customer service at the new facility, ensuring that every NetJets aircraft and client receives top-notch service. Meanwhile, NetJets will be responsible for conducting maintenance within the hangar. This division of responsibilities is expected to optimise operations and enhance service quality, benefiting both companies and their clients.
