Albinati Aeronautics adds Falcon 6X to charter certificate
The operator is keen to charter the aircraft and will be showcasing it in August at Gstaad Saanen airport. This is the first ultra-long range aircraft it has managed and it says it sits well in the fleet with its Global 5500.

Swiss-headquartered private jet charter and management company Albinati Aeronautics has added a brand-new Dassault Falcon 6X to its growing charter fleet.

After the delivery of the aircraft at the Dassault Falcon Jet Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, the aircraft completed its first flight, fuelled by SAF, to its base in Geneva, Switzerland. The widebody business jet then successfully completed its inaugural commercial flight on 1 July from Malta to Geneva airport.

“We assisted our client in the acquisition and delivery of their Falcon 6X and are proud to have been entrusted to manage and commercialise the asset as it is the first one available for charter in the world,” says sales director Rolf Kuijper.

The Falcon 6X has an impressive range of 10,300km (5,600nm), making it ideal for non-stop intercontinental travel. Its spacious cabin, the widest in its class, offers comfort for up to 14 passengers and is equipped with advanced connectivity systems, including satellite-based wi-fi and cutting-edge entertainment options.

The aircraft’s short-field performance allows access to challenging airports, bringing travellers closer to their final destinations. It is available for charter and will be showcased at the Gstaad Polo tournament in August, where it will operate to the mountainous airport of Saanen to demonstrate its performance on short runways.

“The introduction of the Falcon 6X into our fleet demonstrates our constant pursuit for excellence and innovation,” adds CEO Stefano Albinati. “This aircraft not only enhances our charter services, but also strengthens our position as a major player in the European and international markets.”

Captain Charles Pace, director general of the Civil Aviation Directorate (CAD) within Transport Malta, was on hand to greet the crew and officials from Albinati Aeronautics after the acceptance flight. He remarked that the aircraft would be a valuable asset for both Albinati and the 9H registry, and expressed gratitude to Albinati for the investment, and to the airline staff and CAD personnel for their efficient work in adding the aircraft to the registry. He wished the company continued success and looked forward to further expansion.
