Lufttransport signs for AW139 trio from Milestone
Lufttransport will deploy three new AW139s for offshore missions in the North Sea starting in 2025. The helicopters are equipped with full ice protection and are renowned to deliver strong performance.

Norwegian helicopter operator Lufttransport has signed purchase agreements for three Leonardo AW139s courtesy of lessor Milestone Aviation Group. The three helicopters are scheduled to be delivered in 2025 and will be deployed on offshore missions in the North Sea.

“On behalf of Lufttransport, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Milestone for its strong partnership and support. Securing an additional three Leonardo AW139 helicopters, equipped with Full Ice Protection System for the Norwegian continental shelf, is a significant milestone for us,” says Erlend Olsen, CEO of Lufttransport. “We greatly appreciate the Milestone team's agile and forward-thinking approach, which has been instrumental in making this deal a reality, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration to enhance our capabilities and service."
