Universal Weather and Aviation, which owns and operates a dedicated network of FBOs and ground service locations in over 30 countries, has reached an agreement with Altanfeethi to explore opportunities to elevate service levels for business aviation passengers and transform general aviation infrastructure across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Altanfeethi Company, which manages and operates VIP terminals across all Saudi Arabia's airports, will explore the partnership opportunity with Universal Aviation, the FBO ground services division of Universal, to provide above-the-wing and below-the-wing services and create dedicated Universal Aviation-managed VIP terminals at all Altanfeethi terminals. Together, the companies will also explore opportunities to develop additional general aviation terminals, FBOs and other infrastructure, aiming to elevate Saudi Arabia's general aviation experience.

“With the commitment of the Saudi Arabian government investing billions of dollars in infrastructure, we anticipate a significant growth market for business aviation over the next 30 years,” says Greg Evans, chairman of Universal. “Saudi Arabia is changing rapidly under visionary leadership at all levels. This untapped market holds immense potential, and we aim to be part of its expansion by enhancing infrastructure to seize these opportunities.”

“We are thrilled to announce Altanfeethi's new collaboration with Universal, a recognised leader in private aviation services,” said Gelban bin Mohammed AlGelban, CEO of Altanfeethi. “This collaboration marks the beginning of a strategic partnership that allows us to expand our offerings in the private aviation sector, further elevating the experiences we deliver to our valued guests. It aligns perfectly with our ongoing commitment to contribute to the Saudi Arabian General Aviation National Strategy.”

“Altanfeethi Company, with its entrepreneurial leadership team, is an ideal partner for us,” continues Evans. “It matches our drive to advance business aviation in Saudi Arabia, and its established presence in the Kingdom, deep understanding of the local culture and officials, and shared commitment to elevating the country's profile as a premier business aviation destination make this partnership a perfect fit.”
