King joins Priester group to lead on charter sales
Rustin King will lead teams at Priester Aviation, Mayo Aviation and Hill Private Aviation to expand charter sales and enhance personal relationships with clients.

The George J Priester Aviation family of companies is continuing to strengthen its national operations across its three aviation services brands. To further provide cohesive strategy and guidance, the US private aircraft management and provider has welcomed experienced aviation leader Rustin King as national charter sales director.

King, who brings more than 25 years of charter sales and management experience to the position, will lead teams at Priester Aviation, Mayo Aviation and Hill Private Aviation to expand charter sales and enhance the personal relationships with clients for which the companies are known.

"Rustin brings an experienced, national perspective to our charter sales team," says president and CEO Brent Moldowan. "He understands the importance of having sales teams working together and maximising efficiencies for our customers. He brings a key vision of how to build on their successes."

King has experience managing sales in both larger and smaller operators. In a recent executive position, he managed a team that secured charter sales for more than 40 aircraft nationwide. At a previous aircraft sales and management company he delivered the largest block purchase in company history.

He is based in Chicago near Priester Aviation's home base. The legacy of the Priester name and its rich history brought him back to the nearby company he had admired.

"The focus on family ownership and relationships really drew me here," says King. "Andy Priester and the team demonstrate daily the integrity, trust and transparency we know resonates with clients. At the heart, aviation brings people together, and we know that relationships matter to help achieve that."

King will lead best practices implementations, including a single back-end system for the group, and help mentor sales team members. The company expects an increased focus on retail transaction and supporting its charter operations that can serve any destination within the United States and internationally. He will work closely with the company's management team to develop further charter opportunities, if desired, for the more than 80 aircraft managed under the George J Priester brands.
