Duncan Aviation is excited to have delivered another Gulfstream G650. This was the first complete Gulfstream G650ER paint project delivered from its full-service MRO facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. The aircraft was delivered with new, custom exterior paint and minor maintenance work.

The owner of the aircraft was already familiar with the quality work completed by the company. Having had a Gulfstream G550 painted at its Battle Creek, Michigan facility years ago, they didn't hesitate returning to have their Gulfstream G650ER painted.

Completions sales rep George Bajo explains that once the customer upgraded to the G650ER, he wanted the exterior to match his personal taste: "The client had a positive experience with us the first time around. So, when it came time to add his personal touch to the new aircraft, he trusted we would do exceptional work again and we did just that. It was an overall great experience."

The custom paint scheme mimics the previous scheme the customer had on their G550, and is highlighted by an off-white base and more complex stripes compared to the typical paint on a Gulfstream.

Bajo says the client was wonderful to work with and was very decisive during the entire project: "They trusted us and had a great experience. So much in the industry is based around trust, and I believe that is a major reason why this project went so smoothly. There were no worries. It was just a dream.

"We paint more than 200 aircraft a year and are well-known for our other services as well. Our stellar reputation and client focus holds consistent at all three of our full-service MRO facilities."
