Jeff Rex, the first employee at global avionics services supplier L2 Aviation, is rejoining the company as its chief revenue officer.

Rex has more than 30 years of business experience in the aerospace industry and has established a strong reputation for driving both direct and indirect sales growth, building world class sales teams, growing partnerships, driving process efficiency and scaling businesses.

Rex most recently held the position of vice president of business development, weather and earth intelligence at Spire, a global provider of space-based data, analytics and space services. Prior to that, he was the vice president, sales, marketing and business development of FLYHT; director, engineering and business development for Panasonic Avionics Corporation; and VP, engineering and product integration for AirDat.

Rex also has the distinction of being L2 Aviation's very first employee when the company started over 27 years ago. During his 10 years with L2, he held the role of vice president, GM, integration and operations.

He is also a member of the community advisory committee for Denver International airport.

He holds a BS in aerospace engineering and an ME in engineering management, both from the University of Colorado.

"Jeff's rejoining will be instrumental in our mission to achieve our strategic goals and vision for the future. He is a consummate professional who has the necessary skills, experience and knowledge to drive our company's go-to-market efforts," says COO Tony Bailey. "Additionally, Jeff knows L2, knows our customers and is a well-respected professional in the aviation and space community. He is an outstanding addition to our senior leadership team."
