Richmond, Virginia-based Dominion Aviation Services has become an ARGUS Platinum Elite operator.

"Dominion Aviation is excited to be part of the ARGUS Platinum Elite programme. We believe safety is an integral part of our everyday culture. Our team looks forward to working with the ARGUS team to maintain our Platinum Elite rating," says founder and CEO Thomas T 'Mike' Mickel. "This type of continuous audit programme is really raising the bar for all operators in the business aviation industry."

Dominion has been an ARGUS Platinum rated operator since 2006. Having proven itself as a company focused on safety, quality and service, it was invited to elevate its operations by meeting the highest worldwide standard in the industry, Platinum Elite. At this level, operators simultaneously meet the ARGUS Platinum standards, which are the highest standard globally, and agree to be continuously monitored by the ARGUS team.

Platinum Elite is an industry-changing programme available to select ARGUS Platinum rated operators. The programme features real-time operational safety performance monitoring and timely visibility to significant operator changes. While traditional audit programmes require audits every two years, Platinum Elite offers continuous evaluation.

"Dominion Aviation obtaining Platinum Elite proves its commitment to safety and quality as a top operator joining an elite group of 14 operators. All of us at ARGUS International have been impressed with its operation and proud to have it as a Platinum Elite rated operator," says president Mike McCready.

Dominion Aviation started in 1983 as an aircraft management and charter company. Since inception, all decisions have been based on safety, quality and a strong commitment to customer service.
